Athens, 8 May 2025 — Loggerhead Ventures, in collaboration with Sporos Platform, proudly hosted its first signature side event at the Panathēnea Festival: Journey to Net Zero – Ideas, Innovation & Impact. The event brought together some of the most forward-thinking voices in climate innovation, impact investing, and circular entrepreneurship for an afternoon of dialogue, pitching, and ecosystem exchange — held at the emblematic Maria Callas Museum.

As part of Panathēnea — a multidisciplinary festival celebrating innovation, creativity, and cultural transformation — this event stood out for its focus on climate tech and sustainability. Panathēnea has quickly gained recognition as a fresh and original addition to the Greek and global innovation calendar, attracting a diverse mix of participants from Europe and around the world, including startups, artists, investors, and thought leaders.

In a world racing against time to reach net zero, Journey to Net Zero created space for actionable ideas, cross-sector collaboration, and the celebration of bold founders turning challenges into opportunities.

A Glimpse into the Program

The day opened with a compelling keynote by Alexander Argyros, Co-Founder & CEO of BlueLayer, who underscored the importance of local ecosystems in scaling climate innovation and the need to act now.

This was followed by startup spotlight talks from:

  • George Cambanis – Founder & CEO of Mobito, leveraging data monetization for mobility and climate resilience

Moderated by Grigoris Chatzikostas, General Partner at Loggerhead Ventures, the panel discussion brought together experts from venture capital, deep tech, and industry:
